Sales

Are materials generally in stock?

Our stock is kept both in the Netherlands as well as in Dubai to provide timely delivery.

We intend to keep most items in stock to support any request in a timely manner, although bulk orders can sometimes be send from our the manufacturer directly.

 

Does the equipment come with warranty?

The offered items are of a high level of quality.
In case of any damage we will do the best we can to resolve this as soon as possible.

Inclusions:
The Retrotec equipment comes with 2 year warranty (register your equipment via Retrotec.com and check for further T&Cs).
The APSolutions pressure vents come with a life-time warranty (advised to test on opening pressure prior to installation).

Exclusions:
A 90 days warranty will apply on: door-cloth, weatherstrip, flex-duct, bags, carry-cases, covers, and air-current testers.
The warranty will not apply if the products are opened, tampered with, or if these are used in a different way than the intented use.

Is it possible to rent equipment?

Buildingdoctor does offer the option to rent equipment for tests that require more capacity than your current set of equipment can provide.
If required we can also provide you with experts for support.

The prerequisites for equipment rental are:

  • Owning at least a single fan system from Retrotec;
  • Training obtained from Buildingdoctor (not required if Buildingdoctor provides experts along with the equipment).
What are the calibration requirements?

The calibration requirements are dependent on the used standard, the company QMS and perhaps the requirements of a client.
NFPA generally requires an annual gauge calibration and a fan calibration every 5 years for equipment used for enclosure integrity testing.

    • The goal of the test;
    • The dimensions of the building;
    • The required testing standard;
    • The current status of the building;
    • The site location;
    • Any proposed testing date;
    • Your contact details.
  • For a thermal survey, please provide us with:
    • The goal of the test
    • The dimensions of the building;
    • The required testing standard;
    • The current status of the building, including status of HVAC operation;
    • The site location;
    • Any proposed testing date;
    • Your contact details.
What is the procedure to send back product for repair/calibration/return ?

If you need to send back any item to Buildingdoctor EU for repairs/calibration/ return, please use the attached form to fill in the appropriate detail and requirement.

This form is to be used for Buildingdoctor Netherlands only.
