Technical installations
Not destructive research
Not destructive research can mean a large support on several work areas such as in the process industry at solving and preventing problems at technical installations. Not destructive research makes leaks in piping and tanks and inferior heat insulation of hearth, CV - and water systems with one or several techniques visible.
By swift detection of such sticking points in your company costs can be prevented. Costs by production loss at stagnation of the production process, but also unforeseen expenditure for unplanned maintenance and urgent repairings. A sound maintenance and inspection programme of which thermography is part of it, can lead to favourable conditions on insuring and will give the reputation of the producer and his product more goodwill.
NDO - processindustry Thermography and ultrasonic are applied on broad scale on a lot of components within the process industry, such as inspections for among other things tankleakages, clinchers, process auditing and control heat insulations. By means of the mentioned instruments the functioning of steam and security flaps in an installation can be made visible or audible.
NDO - tool construction Ultrasonic is a very suitable technique at inspections for among other things electro engines, bearing systems, aligning strings and engines. An other sonic pattern or overheating in engines as a result of e.g. raised wear and tear or out-of-date windings can be traced. Also can be shown if the bearing systems have been charged correctly, are sufficient lubricated or has been correctly aligned what has influence on the life span of the bearing system.
NDO - electric engineering The controls and inspections to installations are always more often carried out according to NEN 3140. Electrotechnical circuits and connections can checked perfectly by means of thermography, e.g. on depth of wear and if found wrong mounts such as loosened screws and clamp connections. The impact is clear: jamming or fire. Process discontinuances and increased fire danger can lead to undesirable complications within the whole company process. To prevent is better then healing! With use of thermography can for example restricted transitions observed swiftly. Afterwards it is possible to act adequate within the planned time. Also is here the largest advantage cost saving by planning and targeted maintenance. This way you are able to undertake swiftly action and to prevent stagnation in the production process.
